Your name and date of birth along with 14-digit Enrolment ID is provided in the enrolment slip. If you forget Enrolment ID, you need an ID proof to contact the Aadhaar card. Getting Enrolment Number
If you have lost your Aadhaar card, you can retrieve it with your Email ID, Full Name, and Mobile Number.
First of all, you should click this link https://uidai.gov.in/ to visit the official UIDAI site and go to “Aaadhaar Online Services – Aadhaar Enrolment” tab and select “Retrieve Lost UID/EID”. On the first page, there are two options to recover lost Enrolment ID (EID) and Aadhaar Number (UID).
You need to fill up all the basic details, including Name, Email ID, Full Name and Date of Birth. Then, enter the captcha code and security code. Now click on the button “Verify OTP”.
You will get OTP at your registered mobile number. Now you have to submit the One Time Password and click on the button “Verify OTP”. You will get Aadhaar Enrolment Number to your Email or through SMS to your mobile number which is registered. Now that you have EID, you can check your Aadhaar status online.
Here are the steps to check Aadhar status online by your name and DOB
- First of all, visit the official UIDAI site.
- Enter 14-digit Aadhar Enrollment number and date and time of enrolment
- Enter the text given in the image box to enter captcha code
- Press the “Check Status” button after entering the security code.
- It will display the Aadhaar card status on the next page.
